Howard G Cigars has added new vitolas to all three of its Magic Stick lines in an effort to give consumers consistent choices between blends.

First, the company has added a 6 x 60 Gordo vitola to its Magic Stick Cameroon, Magic Stick Connecticut and Magic Stick Habano blends. Regardless of the blend, each Gordo has an MSRP of $13, and they are being sold in 21-count boxes.

In addition, the Magic Stick Cameroon and Magic Stick Connecticut lines are getting a 5 x 52 robusto vitola. Those sizes have an MSRP of $11 each, and they are also packaged in 21-count boxes.

The Magic Stick Cameroon and Magic Stick Habano blends debuted in 2021, while the Magic Stick Connecticut line was released in 2022. Howard G’s cigars are made at an undisclosed factory in Nicaragua.

According to Rachel Peters, co-founder of Howard G Cigars, all five new cigars started shipping to retailers immediately following the conclusion of the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show earlier this week.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
