Hiram & Solomon has announced that it will be releasing a new cigar called Cornerstone at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which happens from March 23-25 in Las Vegas.

The cigar is the newest addition to the company’s Grand Lodge series, and was specifically crafted to honor the Freemason’s Grand Secretary of Arkansas. The company says that the blend “embodies the strength and unity of Freemasonry,” using an Indonesian Sumatra wrapper over an undisclosed binder and filler. The cigar is being made at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic and is offered in a 6 x 52 toro vitola.

The cigar is priced at $16 and is offered in boxes of 10 cigars. Production is limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars, for a total run of 10,000 cigars.

The Hiram & Solomon Cornerstone is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers once the trade show concludes.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
