Drew Estate has begun shipping a repackaged version of the Herrera Estelí Lancero Edición Limitada.

While the cigar will be featured at the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) meeting, it will be offered to all Drew Diplomat retailers. It uses the blend as the original Herrera Estelí blend: an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

It features the updated Herrera Estelí packaging that debuted last year.

“The lancero is a notoriously difficult vitola to master both from a blending and rolling perspective,” said Willy Herrera, Drew Estate’s master blender, in a press release. “The same rollers who make the L40 are assigned to this special blend since they’re the best of the best. We took our time here at the factory when we decided to re-release this cigar so that every aspect from flavor to construction is perfection.”

Drew Estate says that only four pairs of roller produce the cigar. It declined to say how many cigars were being released, but it described as a limited edition.

Pricing is set at $12.46 per cigar, a slight increase from the $12 the company listed the 2014 version.

The Herrera Estelí Lancero Edición Limitada 2019 is shipping.

There is also a limited edition Herrera Estelí Lancero that was created for STOGIES World Class Cigars in Houston. That cigar features an entirely different blend.
