Gotham Cigars, a Florida-based internet cigar retailer, has announced a second series of cigars, which it says it will sell to other retailers.

The new release is called 5 Boroughs, another tribute to New York City. Gotham’s first line of cigars is called Flatbush Cigar Co. There are three different lines, all of which are made at Tabacalera Pages in Nicaragua:

  • 212 — Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano binder and frillers from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa.
  • Bowery — Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano binder and fillers from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa.
  • Chelsea — Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a habano binder from Jalapa, Nicaragua and fillers from Condega, Estelí and Ometepe.

All three blends are offered in the same three vitolas:

  • 5 Boroughs 212/Bowery/Chelsea Toro (6 x 50) — $3.80 (Bundle of 10, 37.99)
  • 5 Boroughs 212/Bowery/Chelsea Churchill (7 x 50) — $4 (Bundle of 10, $39.99)
  • 5 Boroughs 212/Bowery/Chelsea Gordo (6 x 60) — $4 (Bundle of 10, $39.99)

The individual lines’ names all reference New York City. Bowery and Chelsea are neighborhoods in Manhattan, 212 is the original area code of New York City.

“We have been so fortunate over the last 23 plus years to have created a successful cigar retail business that has allowed us to learn and experience what cigar quality and craftsmanship is all
about,” said Manny Balani, owner of Gotham Cigars, in a press release. “5 Boroughs is a reflection of what we have learned, and honors the amazing art that is premium cigar making. We are so proud of these cigars and are anxious for consumers to try them. And don’t let the value pricing fool you, these are cigars that will rival much more expensive offerings.”

Gotham says these cigars are already shipping.
