Genesee County, Mich. Moves Towards Raising Minimum Tobacco Purchasing Age to 21

Genesee County, Mich. is one step away from raising the minimum age to purchase tobacco from 18 to 21.

Yesterday, the Genesee County Board of Commissioners voted 6-1 in favor of the measure. It will now move to the full committee where it is expected to pass.

Genesee County is home to over 400,000 residents and includes the city of Flint.
