Fratello has announced that the Sorella Toro will again be offered to consumers in the U.S.

Since 2020, Sorella has been offered to stores outside of the U.S., though now Fratello says it will once again sell the cigars here in America. This is a homecoming for this specific cigar, as the Sorella blend originally debuted in a 6 x 50 toro size that was sold in the U.S.

That cigar was released in 2019 as part of the Fratello Space Pack, a five-count sampler that contained 6 x 50 toro cigars, including two new blends: Sorella and Arlequin. After getting feedback about the two blends, Fratello designated Arlequin for the U.S., while Sorella was reserved for stores outside the U.S.

“It’s fascinating to me how our international markets reacted to Sorella versus Arlequin,” said Omar de Frias, founder of Fratello, in a press release. “In every country outside of the U.S. where I would have a tasting, Sorella took the center stage. For this reason, we decided to make Sorella an exclusive blend to our international partners.”

Sorella uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. It is made at Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A.

Fratello sells a 6 1/2 x 54 toro size to international stores.

The MSRP is set at $11.50, a ship date has not yet been announced.
