Fratello Announces Concealed Carry Cigars, First Release Named “18th Amendment” (Update)

Fratello has announced a new mysterious sub-brand called Concealed Carry Cigars, and “18th Amendment” will be the first release.

The concept will use “limited one-time production blends that have been curated and selected from undisclosed factories in the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua,” according to a press release. In addition, only 75 stores will carry the Concealed Carry Cigars.

While the company has announced that the first blend in the sub-brand will be named “18th Amendment”, Fratello has released no other information about the cigar—including blend, size, pricing or where they are being made—other than the fact that there will be 1,000 12-count cans produced and that the cans will ship to retailers on March 27.

The company says there will be six different cigars, each with their own branding.

“The reason for creating Concealed Carry Cigars is to portray a period in our history that some would like to remember and others forget. We are telling each story with a cigar,” said Omar de Frias, founder of Fratello, in a press release. “Every retailer in the United States has patronage from every walk of life. We want to create and foster a sense of community and education with Concealed Carry Cigars, and we look forward to seeing everyone at PCA this year.”

Fratello says it will show off Concealed Carry at next week’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place March 23-25 in Las Vegas.
