Quality Importers Trading Co. has announced it will be releasing four new models of desktop humidors for its Humidor Supreme brand, all of which feature what the company calls SureSeal Technology to guarantee optimum humidification and are constructed using premium kiln-dried Spanish cedar.

The Oro is the first Humidor Supreme humidor to offer a USB-powered fingerprint lock. According to a press release, it also features an inlaid gold leaf pattern, measures 14 x 10 x 6.5 inches, and has a capacity between 126 and 240 cigars. The humidity panel also features the Humidor Supreme leaf-pattern engraved design. The Oro is available with a black or ebony finish and has an MSRP of $349.99. It is slated to begin shipping in October.

The Aria offers a modern approach to humidors with its black, angular design. It measures 13.6 x 10.25 x 7.3 inches, which gives it a capacity of 40-80 cigars, the company says. It comes with two lid options, either a full wood top or a glass viewing window, both with a hygrometer and Humidor Supreme’s leaf-pattern engraved humidity panel. Pricing is set at $299.99, and both versions are in stock and ready to begin shipping.

The company says that the Madison humidor is perfect for Madison Ave. or Madison, Wisc., offering a “stylish contemporary” design available in a rosewood finish and featuring a felt-lined accessory drawer underneath the primary cigar storage area. Measuring 13.3 x 10.25 x 7.3 inches, the Madison holds between 60-115 cigars, comes with a hygrometer and Humidor Supreme’s leaf-pattern engraved humidity panel, and is priced at $274.99. It is scheduled to begin shipping in October.

Rounding out the new offerings is the Dane, which is an exclusive release for members of the QI Qualified Program. The company calls it “a modern block design with a European flair,” and it is presented in a rosewood finish. It measures 12.5 x 8.75 x 5.9 inches, can hold 56-100 cigars, and comes with a hygrometer and Humidor Supreme’s leaf-pattern engraved humidity panel. It has an MSRP of $149.99 and is available to ship immediately.

All four models will be displayed in Quality Importers Trading Co.’s booth at the PCA Convention & Trade Show, which runs from July 8-11 in Las Vegas.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
