Favilli has announced that it is teaming up with Fabien Ziegler, formerly of Drew Estate, on a new project that will incorporate cigars and more.
The company has not released much in the way of specifics at the moment, other than that it is calling the project “a specialty series of brands,” with the first project to be announced later this month ahead of its July release. It will consist of small production releases that are overseen by Indiana Ortez, Favilli’s director of operations. The company said that it will be announcing a release calendar so that consumers can anticipate future installments.
“This project is designed to awaken many people who may be stuck in a product rut and bring about a different approach to how many of us enjoy traditional cigars,” Ziegler said in a press release. “From the packaging to brand messaging to the product mix, this series is a totally unique for the industry and in a product space where I hope my expertise can lend the best consumer experience!”
Ziegler is best known for his time with Drew Estate, where he served as the director of consumer engagement, as well as in various sales and marketing roles, largely in support of the company’s popular ACID line. He would often host events around the world to promote Drew Estate’s brands. In total he spent 19 years with Drew Estate before leaving the company in October 2019.
“Announcing this collaboration is such a great moment for us, and a first in the many new avenues we are embarking on to reach our vision,” said Jared Michaeli Ingrisano, president and co-founder of Favilli, via a press release. “In my eyes Fabien has always been a titan in the industry, one who has such an impressive client focus, personal attention to detail and excellent work ethic. The match between us is really a perfect fit as this too is our focus at Favilli in our next 15-year quest of new and better direction.”
The collaboration will first debut in the U.S., with a Canadian release coming after that and select international markets seeing availability as early as September.
