Fabien Ziegler, a longtime Drew Estate employee, is leaving the company.

Ziegler’s current role is the director of consumer engagement, though he previously worked in various sales and marketing roles at the company. He is best known for his role with the company’s popular ACID brand.

“My years at Drew Estate have been incredibly rewarding, most importantly because of the opportunity to work and build relationships with so many retailers and cigar enthusiasts around the country and the world,” said Ziegler in a press release. “I want to thank everyone at Drew Estate as well as the countless store owners and employees and cigar fans that have made this a fantastic journey for two decades.”

Ziegler’s role took him to events around the world where he would host events to promote Drew Estate’s brands.

“Fabien is truly one of a kind. He’s a giant dude with a heart and personality to match,” said Jonathan Drew, co-founder of Drew Estate, in a press release. “Fabien’s warm smile and fun persona immediately connect him to everyone he meets. Sometimes in the sales department, sometimes in Marketing, Fabien spent the last 19 years dedicated to Drew Estate, spreading the company’s message and vision throughout the trade and to the masses of consumers. I want to personally thank Fabien for all he has done for Drew Estate.”

The company said that he is leaving the company to “pursue other interests.”

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
