Espinosa Premium Cigars has begun shipping a pair of 6 x 60 gordos that it is adding to its 601 Blue Label Maduro line and the Knuckle Sandwich Habano line.

Like the other sizes in the 601 Blue Label Maduro line, the 6 x 60 uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, while both the binder and filler come from Nicaragua. The box-pressed gordo size is priced at $11.95 per cigar and $239 for a box of 20 cigars.

The Knuckle Sandwich Habano 6 x 60, meanwhile, uses an Ecuadorian-grown habano-seed wrapper, while the binder and filler come from Nicaragua. It is priced at $14 per cigar and $280 for a box of 20 cigars. Like the other sizes in the line, which was developed with celebrity chef Guy Fieri, it is a round cigar.

The company is also adding 6 x 60 vitolas to the Knuckle Sandwich Maduro line and the Espinosa Laranja Reserva Oscuro lines, though those have not begun shipping. While all four cigars debuted at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, they weren’t on display for long as they were smoked during an event with Fieri.

A company representative said more of the new cigars it showed off at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show are set to begin shipping next week.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
