Les Fines Lames, a French cigar accessory company, is adding eight new colorways of its Le Petit by Les Fines cigar knife. Four of the cutters are available in brass, while the other four use 18-karat gold.

All of the cutters are the same internally and use the same blade, the differences are the design of the handles. There are four different antique brass finishes, which the company says will patina in a unique way.

  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Brass Leaves
  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Brass Leaves II
  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Brass Seigaiha
  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Brass Skulls

All four of these cutters have an MSRP of $219.

The four golden options are:

  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Gold Arabesque
  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Gold Leaves
  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Gold Leaves II
  • Le Petit by Les Fines Lames Gold Standard

The MSRP for each cutter is $389.

Outside of the new artwork design on the handle, the rest of the cutters are the same as in previous versions. That means it measures 4.53 inches when closed and 6.18 inches when open. The blade is the standard 14C28N stainless steel blade that is found on many other versions of the Le Petit. The knife works by opening the knife blade from the body, which reveals a half-moon cut-out that is designed to cut the cap of a cigar. Les Fine Lames says the cutter can cut cigars up to 70 ring gauge. All Les Fines Lames cigar knives are made in France.
