As was the case with the new Davidoff cigar bar in Las Vegas, there are now updated renderings of the other new Davidoff-branded cigar bar, the location in Tampa.

The Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 Tampa location shares some other traits: it’s also scheduled to open in November and it’s also a franchise store, this time with Jeff and Tanya Borysiewicz of Corona Cigar Co.

The similarities sort of stop there, the Tampa location will be the largest Davidoff-branded store in the country, with 5,000-square-feet of humidified space, indoor and outdoor lounges and private lockers.

It also will feature one of Corona Cigar Co.’s signature traits, an extensive liquor program including Corona’s own private bottling of select bourbons.

“Scotch, cognac, bourbon and rum,” said Jeff Borysiewicz in an email to halfwheel. “We have rare oddities such as irreplaceable, Prohibition-era medicinal spirits and pre-embargo, pre-Castro rum. And for the past six years we have been working directly with America’s top whisky distillers and buying entire barrels of their finest single barrel bourbons that have exceptional qualities of flavor, character and drinkability… especially when paired with cigars.”

The new location is located at the MetWest International Retail Village, just south of the Tampa International Airport and about 15 miles from Davidoff of Geneva USA’s headquarters in Pinellas Park.

Tampa and Las Vegas are just two of the new Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 retail stores expected to open, although the only two that are franchise stores. The company is expected to open up its Atlanta location this month and has announced additional locations in Houston and Lower Manhattan.
