Davidoff Announces Duocut Double Blade Punch Cutter
Davidoff of Geneva USA has announced its newest accessory, the Davidoff Duocut Double Blade Punch Cutter.
The new punch cutter is unique in that it features two different blades which are activated depending on how you twist open the cutter. Twisting left to unveil a smaller blade that is designed to be used with cigars from 40-50 ring gauge, twisting right will reveal a large blade made to cut cigars between 50-70 ring gauge.
“Preparing a cigar for enjoyment is part of the cigar aficionados’ ritual,” said Charles Awad, svp global marketing & innovation for Oettinger Davidoff AG, in a press release. “As such, this stylishly crafted Duocut Double Blade Punch Cutter from Davidoff will enhance the ritual by delivering a precise cut for any ring gauge, helping to ensure their time is filled beautifully with their favourite cigars.”
The German-made cutter will be available in four colors—black, brown, rose gold and steel—each with a suggested retail price of $199. It is expected to arrive at Davidoff appointed merchants in the Europe in April and will ship to the U.S. and Asia in May.
The Duocut Double Blade Punch Cutter has a two-year warranty.
