Davidoff is adding two new sizes to its 702 Series line, though neither is slated to come to the U.S.

The 702 Series, which launched last year, took some of the brand’s most popular cigars and replaced the wrapper with an Ecuadorian 702 habano leaf. Now, the Davidoff Grand Cru Robusto (5 1/4 x 52) and Aniversario Short Perfecto (4 7/8 x 52) will be part of the series

Both cigars use a Dominican piloto viso binder and Dominican olor seco, piloto seco and San Vicente viso fillers.

“We are proud of our Master Blenders. With this series, they managed to surprise and delight cigar lovers who appreciate the play of aromatic contrasts,” said Edward Simon, head of global marketing & innovation, in a press release. “The proprietary Davidoff 702 wrapper combined with the signature creaminess of the Davidoff filler offers an incredibly smooth and intense taste experience. This depth of taste and the two new, exciting formats call to be instantly loved by those who have yet the chance to discover this exceptional cigar line.”

This brings the total amount of 702 Series vitolas to nine, though some are exclusives to the U.S. market, while others are sold only outside the U.S.

Both of the new 702 Series cigars are offered in boxes as well as cardboard soft packs.
