In addition to the new distribution deal, Escobar has created four different house blend cigars for Cigar Chief. Those cigars are made at PDR Cigars.

For the first time in more than a decade, there’s a new Nestor Miranda Grand Reserve release. Like the 2011 and 2012 releases, it’s a limited edition belicoso made by My Father Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua.

This is a sophomore release for the Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade, which debuted in 2021. The blend is based around a Connecticut-seed tobacco that is grown under shade in the Bahia region of Brazil.

Three of the four sizes of the new First line are shipping to stores. The 7 x 54 double corona size is not included in this initial shipment.

Last year, the CigarBros + Boveda Humidors debuted in a single 80-count size. The company has started shipping smaller models that are offered in 5-, 10-, 20- and 30-count versions.

Alberto Medina says that the PIO 1996 Series “My First Love” his attempt at replicating the first cigar blend he created. While that cigar was made in a factory in Miami, this box-pressed limited edition is made in Nicaragua.
