The latest from Crux is heading to stores.

Today, the company has begun to ship its Limitada PB5, a single size limited edition that highlights a proprietary wrapper. It’s called Engañoso, an Estelí-grown wrapper that the company secured the rights for three years ago.

The 5 3/4 x 54 box-pressed toro extra also uses a Connecticut broadleaf binder and five different filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It is designed to be the fullest cigar in the company’s portfolio to date.

PB5 is limited to 500 numbered boxes of 10 with pricing set at $11.99 per cigar. Casey Haugen, who handles operations for the company, told halfwheel that all 500 boxes have already been accounted for at the retail level.

The plan is for Crux to release a different vitola for the line each year.
