Crowned Heads Paniolo Especiale Returns for 2016

When we reviewed the Paniolo Especiale 2015, we noted that theboxegs for the release said “MMXV” somewhat implying that if there was a 2015 release, there might be a 2016 release.

Turns out, those suspicions were correct.

On Feb. 26, Crowned Heads will launch the Paniolo Especiale 2016, a 5 1/2 x 50 box-pressed robusto extra made exclusively for R. Field Wine Co. of Hawaii.

Crowned Heads is not disclosing the blend for this year’s release, but has said the cigar is being produced at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, the same place where the original release was produced.

Production is limited to 500 boxes of 12 cigars with a suggested retail price of $8.70.
