Colibri is shipping the first item of the company’s new Heritage Cube Collection, which will consist of four accessories with the same square design style.

The new Heritage Cube Desk Lighter is a table lighter measuring 2.71 x 2.69 x 2.69 inches that features both a single soft flame and a double-jet pyramid flame. The different flames can be ignited independently of one another by pushing in different ignition triggers, while a built-in safety system prevents both flames from igniting at the same time. In addition, it has a large fuel adjuster wheel on the bottom that controls the height of both flames, while two blue fuel windows show how much butane is in the tank.

Six different color finishes are available—black, blue, charcoal, green, orange and red—all with the same $165 MSRP.

The Heritage Cube Desk Lighter was one of four products in Colibri’s Heritage Cube Collection, which was showcased at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show earlier this year. The Collection also includes the Heritage Cube Ashtray, Heritage Cube Cutter and Heritage Cube Humidor.

Colibri introduced the Heritage line with the Heritage Humidor in 2019.

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
