CLE PCA Exclusive 2023 Arrives at Stores

The final of the trio of PCA 2023 exclusives from CLE Cigar Co. has begun arriving to stores.

Last week, CLE Cigar Co. began shipping the CLE PCA Exclusive 2023. It’s one of three limited edition lines that the company showed off at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show that were only offered to retailers who placed orders during the trade show. The three lines share a number of similarities: all three are offered in the same four sizes that are priced the same, all three are each limited to 150 boxes per size and all three use tobacco from a new CLE farm in an unnamed South American country.

The CLE PCA Exclusive 2023 uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a binder from that undisclosed country and fillers, also from that undisclosed country. For context, the Asylum PCA Exclusive 2023 uses a wrapper of undisclosed origin, while the Eiroa PCA Exclusive 2023 uses a Honduran corojo wrapper.

“I wanted to create a premium Connecticut cigar like no other,” said Christian Eiroa, founder of CLE Cigar Co., in a press release when the cigar was announced. “We have been secretly cultivating tobacco in South America and this will be the first blend that contains tobacco from this farm.”

Like the Asylum PCA Exclusive 2023 and Eiroa PCA Exclusive 2023, the CLE PCA Exclusive 2023 has a lid that is designed to also be used as an ashtray.
