B.A.M.F. Cigars will show off two new creations when the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show opens on Saturday.

The first new cigar is Shadow Warriors, a 6 x 52 toro incorporating a Mexican San Andres wrapper, a Dominican binder and a filler blend that includes tobacco from the Dominican Republic as well as ligero from Pennsylvania. According to a press release, the cigars are a collaboration with the Shadow Warriors Project and are being released to “honor the Private Military Security Contractors that have and still protect our country.”

Shadow Warriors is priced at $11 each and is offered in 10-count boxes and 20-count bundles that are scheduled to ship to retailers in mid-July. According to the press release, the cigars are being made at the Rodriguez Olivan Cigars Factory in the Dominican Republic, and a percentage of each cigar purchased will be donated to support Shadow Warriors Project.

The second new release from B.A.M.F. Cigars is another collaboration, this time with Operation: Cigars For Warriors, a charity that sends cigars and other items to U.S. troops serving in active combat zones. Some Gave All is a 5 x 54 robusto made up of an Ecuadorian habano 2000 wrapper along with an internal blend made entirely of Dominican tobacco. According to the press release, the art used on the bands was inspired by art made by Lou Piscitelli, and the cigars are meant to “honor our fallen soldiers.”

Some Gave All has an MSRP of $13 each and is packaged in 10-count boxes that are scheduled to ship in July. Unlike Shadow Warrior, the “Some Gave All cigars are being sold exclusively to retailers who place orders at PCA 2023.

Finally, B.A.M.F. Cigars will also be showing off Mafioso, a 4 1/2 x 60 figurado made up of a Brazilian wrapper covering a binder and filler made up of tobacco grown in Italy. The cigars have an MSRP of $14.50 and are packaged in 10-count boxes that come with a challenge coin and bullet lighter included inside.

Last month, a small number of boxes were shipped to 10 different retailers but the company says it will begin shipping the cigars to other retailers this month.

The 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
