One of the most talked about cigars of the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show was a cigar that no one saw.

In the Arturo Fuente booth was a box labeled “Black Pink” that used the same logos as the Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s but with imagery of big cats on it. There was no Black Pink cigar in the booth, and various Arturo Fuente employees said the box had been unexpectedly added to the booth shortly before the trade show began.

There will be an actual cigar, though it’s unclear when Arturo Fuente will sell that cigar. Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. told halfwheel that he is still finishing some of the packaging and wants to wait until that is complete before unveiling details about the cigar. When asked, Fuente Jr. didn’t specify which species of big cat is used for the box.

This is not the first time that Fuente Jr. has added a teaser like this to the company’s trade show booth. If the past is any indication, the company might be ready to talk about the cigar at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place next April in New Orleans.
