For the second time in less than a year, Alec Bradley has announced a new product that will come in cigar molds. This time though, it will be actual cigar molds.

The new Alec Bradley Reclaimed sampler contains seven cigars, each in a 6 1/4 x 54 perfecto shape:

  • Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper
  • Alec Bradley Black Market
  • Alec Bradley Magic Toast
  • Alec Bradley Maxx
  • Alec Bradley Medalist
  • Alec Bradley Prensado
  • Alec Bradley Tempus

While a couple of these cigars have been offered in a 6 3/4 x 54 perfecto before, none of them have been offered in this size. According to Cigar Aficionado, the Reclaimed sampler will have an MSRP of $79.95 and is limited to 800, numbered boxes.

“These 800 cigar molds may have reached the end of their manufacturing process lifecycle, but their usefulness and novelty have yet to expire,” said Bradley Rubin of Alec Bradley in a press release. “Repurposing them to house limited edition cigars is a fun way to bring a little piece of the factory to our customers and enhance the overall smoking experience.”

A representative of Alec Bradley confirmed the report and said a press release is forthcoming.

Last year, Alec Bradley released a new version of its Trilogy cigars in boxes that were designed to mimic cigar molds. This time, the boxes are molds that were used to make cigars but are being retired. Alec Bradley routed new space into the molds to hold the seven perfectos.
