The latest addition to Aging Room’s portfolio is on its way to stores, as the Quattro Nicaragua Sonata is starting to ship to retailers this week.

It is an all-Nicaraguan blend that is billed as being a bit lighter than the original Quattro Nicaragua line that debuted in 2018, a result achieved due to longer fermentation and different seed varietals. The line is produced by Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. and offered in six vitolas:

  • Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Espressivo (5 x 50) — $13.02 (Box of 20, $260.40)
  • Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Maestro (6 x 52) — $13.13 (Box of 20, $262.20)
  • Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Vibrato (6 x 54) — $13.24 (Box of 20, $264.80)
  • Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Concerto (7 x 50) — $13.37 (Box of 20, $267.40)
  • Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Grande (6 x 60 — $13.55 (Box of 20, $271)
  • Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Impromptu (6 1/2 x 52) — $14.98 (Box of 10, $149.80)

The line debuted at the 2023 Total Product Expo (TPE) in February.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
