More than four years ago, the company known then as Casa Fernandez announced that it would be rebranding itself to AGANORSA Leaf. Since then, the company has methodically worked its way through its portfolio of cigars, updating the packaging and sometimes other aspects of nearly every cigar. As it turns out, the company is not done yet.

Over the last few weeks, it has been teasing more packaging updates, something that is expected to be formally announced soon. Images show new packaging for the company’s AGANORSA Leaf Rare Leaf, a cigar that debuted in early 2021, as well as AGANORSA Leaf Signature, which is offered in both Corojo and Maduro variants. Notably, Rare Leaf and Signature Maduro debuted after the AGANORSA Leaf makeover began and the AGANORSA Leaf Signature Corojo received packaging updates in 2018, meaning that these updates will constitute a second revision.

The most recent look at the new packaging comes from Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing at AGANORSA Leaf.

Reilly previously told halfwheel that an announcement is expected soon regarding the new packaging.

Update (Dec. 21, 2022) — Today, AGANORSA Leaf issued a press release and images showing off the new packaging for its Signature Series line. In the announcement, the company announced that the new packaging will begin shipping to stores in late January or early February, and the line will still be offered in the same four vitolas, a 6 x 46 corona gorda, a 5 x 52 robusto, 6 x 54 toro, and a 6 1/4 x 52 belicoso. The corona gorda will come in 25-count boxes, while the other three sizes are offered in 20-count boxes, with individual cigars still priced between $10.50 and $12.25 per cigar.

“The new packaging is intended to better represent the excitement that comes from enjoying these special blends that truly highlight Aganorsa’s capabilities as a grower,” said Terence Reilly, AGANORSA Leaf’s vp of sales and marketing, via a press release. “These special tobaccos required packaging that made them stand out both as incredible expressions of our leaf and more recognizably Aganorsa. I think we achieved that with this sensational new presentation.”
