Beginning today, the ADVentura line of cigars is available in Canada, as ADV & McKay Cigars Co. has announced a distribution agreement with Lindal Cigar Importers Inc.

“Canada has been a long time coming market for us. We’ve finally found a way and partner to officially launch there,” said Marcel Knobel, co-founder of ADV & McKay Cigars Co. S.R.L., via a press release. “We do our best to align ourselves with those that value the art of premium boutique cigar production and that are equally excited to tell the brand story as we do.”

Justin Bondi, partner at Lindal Cigar Importers, spoke highly of not just the ADVentura line of cigars, but the people behind them. “We are honoured ADVentura has chosen us to partner with; as a family business we have always not only looked for great cigars to bring into Canada but working with great people,” Bondi said in a press release. “Henderson, Nicole and Marcel are fantastic to work with and overall down-to-earth and smart cigar people that we look forward to growing with and working with for many years.”

“We are happy to have the new factory to be able to grow new markets and service more and more people with ADV cigars,” said Henderson Ventura, co-founder of ADV & McKay Cigars Co. S.R.L. “We can finally respond to all of the requests asking if we are available in Canada with a yes, thanks to Lindal.”

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
