Kingmakers Cigars has teamed up with country music stars Midland for a new cigar called Palomino Longneck.
It is a 6 x 54 box-pressed toro that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a binder from Nicaragua’s Estelí region, and fillers from Nicaragua’s Condega and Jalapa regions. The company describes it as offering a subtle cacao richness and suitable for pairing with Insólito tequila, which Midland launched in 2020. The cigars are produced at MGE Cigars Factory in Estelí.
“This collaboration embodies the essence of classic country style intertwined with sophisticated indulgence,” the company said in a press release “Palomino is more than just a cigar; it’s a testament to the timeless spirit of country music and the art of refined craftsmanship. Perfect for those who appreciate the elegance of a well-crafted cigar and the rugged charm of the country lifestyle.”
The cigars are named as a tribute to the Palomino Club, a now-closed country music venue in North Hollywood, Calif., as well as the band’s song “Longneck Way to Go.”
The cigars are currently available through Kingmakers’ website but are scheduled to become available at retailers in the near future. Pricing is set at $13.75 per cigar and $275 for a box of 20 cigars.
Earlier this year, Kingmakers Cigars released a cigar with WNBA star Kelsey Plum.
