Last year, Villiger released a new brand commemorating Christopher Columbus’ journey to the New World. Now, that limited edition line has gotten a sophomore release.

The Villger 1492 Discovery Edition Robusto is a 5 x 48 robusto that has recently gone on sale in Germany and Switzerland. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over a Dominican piloto ligero binder and Dominican fillers. The company describes the blend as “mildly aromatic.”

It has an MSRP of €12 and CHF 12 per cigar. There were 350 boxes sent to Switzerland, while Germany received 750 boxes of 20 cigars. As with many Villiger releases, this will not be sold in the U.S.

Last year, the company released the same blend in a 6 x 54 gran toro vitola.
