Bob de Goede has announced that his Xhaxhi Bobi cigar brand will now be distributed in the U.S. by SLC Distributors, LLC.

For those unfamiliar with SLC Distributors, it is associated with Sir Louis Cigars, a retail store based in Wilbraham, Mass. For the moment, Xhaxhi Bobi is the company’s only national brand under distribution, which is headed up by Matt Jordan.

Xhaxhi Bobi was previously distributed by Vlada Stojanov’s Bespoke Co. until early 2023. Last week, Lampert Cigars announced that it was ending its distribution agreement with Bespoke Co. Stojanov announced his own brand, Somm, earlier this year.

de Goede was born in The Netherlands but has lived in the Dominican Republic for the last two decades. During that time, he started making cigar boxes, which eventually led him to ask Hendrik Kelner Jr. to make a cigar for him to smoke. Xhaxhi Bobi’s cigars are made at various factories in the Dominican Republic, de Goede’s aim is to have the lines show off the different styles of blending from each factory.
