It’s time for the most complicated Top 25 cigars list of the year, The Consensus.
For the 11th year in a row, I have curated The Consensus. It’s a project based on a pretty simple idea: what were to happen if you combined all of the Top 25/Top 10 cigar lists from blogs, magazines, podcasts and YouTube channels and placed them into one list?
As the name implies, the most basic idea is to determine whether there is a commonality between the list, though I’ve always believed that the best use of the list is less about what the top cigar of the year is and more about what it says about the relationships between cigar companies and the media entities that cover them.
This year’s live show will be different in that I am hoping to spend less time talking about the cigars and more time answering questions. Please leave comments on halfwheel’s Facebook or YouTube pages and I will try to answer them.
