Later this week, a new vitola in Warped Cigars’ El Oso line is being released exclusively at Smokingpipes.com, the online store of Laudisi Enterprises.

The Elo Oso Primo is a 4 1/2 x 46 vitola with an MSRP of $20 each. It is packaged in 10-count bundles, and only 500 bundles were produced. The cigars were rolled at the El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami.

As with the other vitolas in Warped’s El Oso line—the name means The Bear in Spanish—his new release uses the regular El Oso blend: an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper covering an Ecuadorian binder and filler tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The line debuted in 2014 with two different sizes: Cub, a 4 x 44 vitola, and PaPa, a 6 x 48 belicoso.

According to a press release, Smokingpipes.com will release the El Oso Primo on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
