It’s called Villiger Miami 2022 and no; it’s not made in Miami.

“We named the cigars Villiger Miami 2022 because, since the beginning of 2021, it has been the cigar we give to our friends, customers and colleagues when they visit our Miami office,” said Rene Castaneda, president of Villiger Cigars North America, in an email to halfwheel.

The Villiger Miami 2022 will be offered in two sizes. It was blended by José Matias Maragoto at the ABAM Cigar Factory in the Domincian Republic. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut desflorado wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic.

  • Villiger Miami 2022 Laguito No.1 (7 1/2 x 38) — $15 (Box of 10, $150)
  • Villiger Miami 2022 Robusto (5 x 50) — $15 (Box of 10, $150)

Only 500 boxes of each size were produced due to the limited amount of tobacco.

It will debut at the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 9-12 in Las Vegas, and will ship to stores in August.
