Viaje is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and doing so with a trio of new cigars that are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers on August 15.

Each of the three Viaje 15th Anniversary blends—called Black, Silver and Gold—are Nicaraguan puros, and each is offered in a 6 1/4 x 52 torpedo vitola. A representative from the company confirmed that they are being made at AGANORSA Leaf’s Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The company has not yet announced pricing, production numbers, or any specific details about the three blends and how they are different from each other, other than to confirm that each is a distinct blend.

Update (Aug. 17, 2022) — The Silver and Gold versions are priced at $390 per box and $15.60 per cigar, while the Black version is priced at $430 per box and $17.20 per cigar.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
