As the name implies, the Firecracker Series is made up of cigars made by different manufacturers designed to look like firecrackers. Each year, Two Guys Smoke Shop in New Hampshire commissions a different manufacturer to produce a cigar, which is released around the July 4 holiday.
While Steve Saka's Mi Querida—Spanish for my mistress—is a regular production line, the Mi Querida was the brand's first limited edition release with only 10,000 cigars packaged in boxes of 20 released. The 3 1/2 x 50 petit robusto is “front loaded with ligero,” but otherwise features the same blend as the regular Mi Querida, namely a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper covering a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.
Profile-wise, the Mi Querida Firecracker features a dueling combination of both creaminess and pepper along with flavors of cedar, popcorn, earth and various fruity sweetness. — Brooks Whittington.
