CLE placed two cigars on this year's list, both Honduran puros in a perfecto shape. For Jamastran, Christian Eiroa returned to his roots, specifically, the Camacho Diplmoma.
The Eiroa family used to own Camacho and Christian served as its president. And it's very easy to see Diploma in CLE's Eiroa Jamastran: the brand's signature 11/18 size, a Honduran puro, triangular boxes, etc. Like the Eiroa First 20 Years Diadema that finished #7, this size of the Eiroa Jamastran is also an exclusive release to retail members of the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA).
And like that cigar, this is very good. The Jamastran uses tobacco from the Jamastran Valley in Honduras, I suspect a lot of corojo. For those that like a semi-sweet, rich blend of corojo tobaccos, this is a cigar made for you. — Charlie Minato.
