The Cigar Formally Known As Mysterioso.
The tongue twister of a name is a result of a trademark dispute with Connecticut Valley Tobacconist in 2014. What was Mysterioso is now TCFKAM. Having debuted in 2013, the fourth rendition of the blend was a 7 x 55 perfecto that shipped to retailers in December 2016 with a retail price of $20.50 and packaged in boxes of five.
Visually, the TCFKA M 2016 is strikingly unique, with a golden brown Ecuadorian sumatra wrapper that features darker Ecuadorian sumatra oscuro accents on the cap and foot as well as a single line wrapped around the cigar. However, there is quite a bit more to the release than good looks, as the cigar features a profile is full of complex flavors, excellent construction and superb balance. The name may be a bit tough to work into a conversation, but the cigar itself is a treat. — Brooks Whittington.
