Bob The Cigar Guy (Bob/Chief) — Bob’s list had 25 cigars, Chief’s list had 20 cigars. For the sake of simplicity, each #1 cigar was awarded 12.5 points, each #2, 12 points, etc.
Cigar Lover — This list is divided into five geographic regions, each of which has five ranked cigars. Because there’s no way of telling which #1 is the top cigar overall, the five #1 cigars were awarded 23 points, the five second-place cigars were awarded 18 points, etc.
Cigar Talk — This was announced as two unordered lists of 25 cigars, it ended up not being 50 total cigars but each cigar mentioned received 6.5 points.
Kohned — There were 32 cigars on the list, grouped by score. I gave 24.5 points to the cigars that scored 100 points, a tie for first place; 19.5 points to the eight cigars that scored 98 points, which would be the middle between #6 and #7, and 11 points to the nine cigars that scored 97 points. That left 13 cigars that scored 96 to make up the final six points scoring spots. Given that the average would have been less than a half point (.46), I excluded those 13 cigars.
Leaf N Grain Society — There were five cigars listed, unraked. Each cigar was awarded 23 points.
LeeMack912 — There was no #18, so the cigars listed as #19-25 were each bumped up one point.
Master Your Ash — This list is divided into cigars up to 52-ring gauge and 54-ring gauge and above. Meaning there are two #1s, two #2s, etc. I gave 24.5 points for the first place cigars, 22.5 points for the second place cigars, etc.
Stogie Press — Stogie Press produces three different Top 15 lists, broken up by the size of a company. Given The Consensus’s approach of limiting each list to 25 cigars, only the top 1-9 from each list were taken. Because there’s no way of telling which #1 (Small, Medium, or Large Company) is actually the first place cigar, each #1 was awarded 24 points, a three-way tie for first; the #2 cigars were awarded 21 points, etc. The #9 cigars were awarded .3 points.
The Cigar Executive — This is a top 10 list that had two different blends for #4. Those two cigars were given 21.5 points, while cigar #5 was given 20 points (5th place), #6 was given 19 points (6th place), etc.
