Toro Extra

The newest addition to My Father’s Flor de las Antillas line is a 6 1/2 x 52 toro extra that is blended using a higher priming wrapper compared to what is used in the blend of the original version.

The three-vitola line was originally scheduled to be released in 2021, but delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic pushed the release back to last November.

The Attic Series is the limited edition line from the relatively new West Tampa Tobacco Co. The debut cigar in the Attic Series is also, somewhat confusingly, called Attic.

This is the first blend from Litto Gomez Jr., the youngest son of Litto Gomez, to be sold. It’s a contrasting partner to the cigar from Gomez Jr.’s brother, Tony, La Nox.

The Bocock Brothers Signature Edition Toro marks the first time that the Bocock Brothers are selling a cigar made outside of Honduras.

Most people know the Year of the Rabbit is a double perfecto with a pigtail, but there is also a 6 x 56 toro extra version.

Originally a Dutch cigar brand packed in tins, this version of the Red Anchor brand is made at the Hendrik Kelner Jr.’s Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.

Nearly 15 years since the first release, the Casa Magna brand grows again with a Dominican-made line that uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper to create one of the lighter profiles in the line.

One of the new creations from Selected Tobacco S.A. bears the name of the company’s founder, Nelson Alfonso Egüed. The six-vitola Alfonso line is made up of an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and binder along with Nicaraguan ligero and Peruvian filler tobaccos.

The New World Dorado uses tobaccos mainly from AJ Fernandez’s Dorado farm in Estelí. Interestingly, it’s made at the company’s other factory in Ocotal.

The newest release for Casa Cuevas is Sangre Nueva, a blend that happens to also be the first creation from Alec Cuevas, the fifth generation member of the Cuevas family.
