New York Legislature Rejects Governor’s Call for Flavored Tobacco Sales Ban
Gov. Kathy Hochul’s plan to increase the taxes on cigarettes from $4.35 to $5.35 per pack remains in the bill. Hochul’s budget did not call for any changes to the tax rate for cigars.
