The Long Live The Queen Maduro is an important moment: the first new cigar from Caldwell after the Laudisi acquisition, one of the first cigars from the rebuilt Tabacalera William Ventura, and the follow-up to one of last year’s headlining releases.

Strong, full-flavored cigars have long been Black Label Trading Co.’s thing. This year, the company said it was returning to its roots with Orthodox, what it called one of its boldest new blends.

While Stolen Throne Cigars isn’t known for doing line extensions, it made an exception for the fifth anniversary of its Crook of the Crown line. This 6 x 46 is limited to 50,000 cigars.

In the spring of 2023, Powstanie added a 5 1/2 x 46 corona gorda as the fifth size in its core lines, the Habano and Broadleaf. After a year of rest, the time has come to revisit the skinniest size in the line.

The El Septimo Culinary Arts Collection contains four different sizes, each with their own distinct names and packaging. This 6 x 46 corona gorda was inspired by sake.

This is the fifth vitola in the company’s third regular production line.

Powstanie’s SBC limited edition gets its fourth installment, named for 2022 but released at the end of 2023.

The first release from the family behind Fine Ash, a retail store in Arizona, is called Ceniza Fina. That would be Spanish for “fine ash.”

It’s the first of three cigars for Freud’s Carlos & Maria line.

The blend was created to honor the noted Nicaraguan poet Rubén Darío.

The actual War Bear may be long dead, but the cigar that bears its name is back after a year hiatus.
