While a handful of companies have taken containers that once stored ammunition and turned them into cigar humidors, Stogie Mag is taking the concept of gun-inspired cigar storage to a completely different place.

Last month, the company showed off its eponymous product to retailers at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show. As the name implies, the Stogie Mag is a magazine that holds cigars not bullets. Specifically, it’s inspired by the magazine of an AR-15 and is designed to hold six cigars up to 5 1/4 x 52.

The Stogie Mag is made in the U.S. using custom-made injection-molded plastic. Just like a gun magazine, there’s a spring inside that pushes the next cigar to the top. The company says that the Stogie Mag is designed to fit cigars that measure 5 1/4 x 52, though you could put cigars that are slightly smaller inside of it. The company told halfwheel that if the cigars are too small, they could get crushed by the spring.

In addition, each Stogie Mag comes with a custom Integra Boost humidification pack to allow for the cigars to be humidified while they are stored. A removable floorplate will allow for a user to replace the packs. The company says that the packs should be replaced every three months, depending on the environment. Unfortunately, the replacement packs are not yet available for sale, though that is supposed to change soon.

Stogie Mag is already on sale, with an MSRP of $89.99.

Each Stogie Mag comes with two Integra Boost humidification packs and an instruction booklet that is based on the U.S. Army’s comic book-style instructions for the M16 rifle, which served as the basis for the AR-15.
