Smoking will continue to be allowed in cigar stores, bars and other businesses in Oklahoma.
H.B. 2288, a bill that would have banned smoking at cigar shops, bars, private clubs, hotel rooms and nursing homes failed to make it through the legislative session.
It was introduced by Rep. Harold Wright, R-Weatherford, and garnered six co-sponsors and passed a committee hearing in February, but the bill never received another vote since then.
