Selection Meerapfel Rebranding to “The Selection”
The Meerapfel family’s Selection Meerapfel has been rebranded to The Selection.
The Selection is headed by Melissa Meerapfel and includes brands such as La Estancia, La Estancia Exclusiva, Machetero, Maestranza and the Square Line; none of which are sold in the U.S. Meerapfel says that a new line will be announced next week during the InterTabac 2023 trade fair in Dortmund, Germany.
These brands differ from the Meerapfel Cigar portfolio which includes higher-priced lines the Richard and Meir, both of which are sold in the U.S.
In addition to its cigar brands, the Meerapfel family is known for growing Cameroon wrappers and also provides distribution for some brands.
