Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua Midnight Twist Slated for March
At next week’s TPE 2024 trade show, Altadis U.S.A. will show off the latest addition to its Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua line.
The new Midnight Twist vitola uses the same internal blend as the regular Reserva Real Nicaragua line but has barber pole-style wrappers. Overall, the blend remains a Nicaraguan puro, but there are now two contrasting wrappers that are applied in a way that they produce contrasting stripes like a barber’s pole. Reserva Real Nicaragua, which debuted in 2020, is produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A.
Similar to the Reserva Real Twisted Love Story—barberpole cigars for the regular Reserva Real line—there will be two regular production sizes of Midnight Twist:
- Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua Midnight Twist Love Story (4 1/4 x 46) — $9.92 (Box of 25, $248)
- Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua Midnight Twist Toro (6 x 54) — $10.92 (Box of 25, $273)
Midnight Twist will be shown off at TPE 2024, which takes place Jan. 31-Feb. 2 in Las Vegas, but will not begin shipping until March.
