The third version of the Rocky Patel Winter Blend will hit shelves later this month.

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Inc. will release the new Winter Collection which uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers.

It will be offered in four sizes:

  • Rocky Patel Winter Collection Corona (5 1/2 x 42) — $8.50 (Box of 20, $170)
  • Rocky Patel Winter Collection Robusto (5 1/2 x 50) — $10.50 (Box of 20, $210)
  • Rocky Patel Winter Collection Toro (6 1/2 x 52) — $11.50 (Box of 20, $230)
  • Rocky Patel Winter Collection Sixty (6 x 60) — $12.50 (Box of 20, $250)

The first Winter Collection was announced in 2008 when the company was releasing limited editions for each of the seasons. That cigar was made by AJ Fernandez and limited. The cigar returned in 2012 as a different blend and box-pressed, it was said to be limited to 2,000 boxes per size.

This new version will be made at the company’s Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. (TAVICUSA) factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Unlike the 2012 version, it is not box-pressed.
