The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has announced that it will be holding an online International Policy Summit that will bring together cigar makers, legislators and dignitaries to discuss a range of issues facing the industry both domestically and in an international context.
The event, which is scheduled for Oct. 6 and is being held in collaboration with Light ’em Up World, will kick off with keynote addresses by Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. and Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., as well as opening remarks from Scott Pearce, executive director of the PCA, along with Greg Zimmerman, president of the PCA, and Reinhard Pohorec of Light ’em Up World, who will be moderating the event.
There will also be keynote addresses from Sonia Guzmán Klang, the Dominican Republic’s Ambassador to the United States, and Luis Fernando Suazo Barahona, Honduras’s Ambassador to the United States.
In addition, there will be two panels, one of which will discuss the impact of cigars on global commerce and trade, with the other housing on the global impact of the cigar industry’s charitable and social contributions.
