July 4th is coming up which means it’s time for Two Guys Smoke Shop’s annual release, the Firecracker.

Since 2007, the New Hampshire-based retailer has been making short cigars with a long pigtail cap designed to mimic the fuse of a firecracker or firework. In recent years, the store has commissioned a new Firecracker blend from a different manufacturer each year. This year, that task goes to Perdomo.

The Perdomo Firecracker measures 3 1/2 x 50 and is a Nicaraguan puro, using the same wrapper found on the Perdomo 20th Anniversary Sungrown. Nick Perdomo Jr. described the Firecracker as a full-bodied cigar that is “heavy in flavor,” with tobaccos from Estelí.

It is priced at $7 and limited to 1,000 boxes of 20 cigars.

Perdomo Jr. was in New Hampshire for a launch event yesterday and now the cigars are on sale via the store’s website.

Unlike most other Firecracker releases, the Perdomo Firecracker will get a limited distribution to other retailers as part of United Cigars, the wholesale distribution company that shares owners with Two Guys Smoke Shop.
