PCA 2023: Visol Products

After debuting more than 25 new products during last year’s PCA Convention & Trade Show, Visol Products followed that up by releasing more new creations during 2023 TPE earlier this year. However, that left the company with relatively few new items to show off during this year’s PCA show, although that did not seem to affect the popularity of the company’s booth one bit.

Shaped like a rectangle with one end cut off, the Visol booth was unchanged from the one it used at last year’s PCA show. Also unchanged was the large number of people who always seemed to be inside the booth looking at products or talking to the Visol staff, the latter of which seems to increase every year.

As has been the case since I started covering the company’s booth in 2016, Visol’s new selection of products included cutters, lighters and leather cigar cases. However, one major new item Visol highlighted was a leather travel case made in collaboration with Peter James Leather Co.

This zippered leather travel case measures 6 x 3 1/2 inches and includes pockets—some of which close via a magnetic clasp—that can be used to hold five cigars, cigar lighters, cigar cutters and business cards. There are four different colorways: black, brown, green and navy.

Visol Orient Quad Flame Table Lighter

A quad-flame tabletop lighter with a quasi-steampunk design aesthetic, the Orient also includes a built-in cigar rest and is available in four colorways: brass, gold and silver.

Wild West Cigar Cutter

Weighing in at a quarter pound, this double guillotine cutter has two finger openings and can cut cigars up to 60-ring gauge. It is available in antique gold, antique black and antique copper colorways.

Visol Wild West V Wedge Cigar Cutter

This is almost identical to the Wild West V Straight Cigar Cutter above, but it has a v-cut instead of double guillotine blades. It also comes in antique gold, antique black and antique copper colorways.

Visol Kamet V Cutter Triple Torch Cigar Lighter

This triple torch lighter includes a built-in cigar rest, a fuel window and a built-in v-cut that can cut cigars up to 60 ring gauge. It comes in black, blue, brass, green, gunmetal, red and silver colorways.
