PCA 2023: Smoking Jacket

While there were no new items from Hendrik Kelner Jr.’s Smoking Jacket brand at PCA 2023, there was big news in Las Vegas. A week ago, the company announced that it would change distributors from Davidoff of Geneva USA to Casdagli.

Kelner Jr. seems excited and optimistic that moving to a smaller company will allow his brand to get more attention. That said, he was complimentary of Davidoff and acknowledged that when he chose Davidoff to distribute Smoking Jacket, he was fine with it getting less attention. Now, he seems more interested in expanding the brand.

Given the above news, it was no surprise to see Smoking Jacket in part of the Casdagli booth. The company’s three lines—Smoking Jacket Clásico, Henkie and Smoking Jacket Limited Edition II Gran Toro—will each be available from Casdagli soon. I’m told the Limited Edition is already available for order.
