Potters Mercantile has announced that it has acquired Tabac Trading Co.

This effectively amounts to Pat Potter, Tabac Trading Co.’s founder, reorganizing the cigar brand’s corporate structure. Potter is the sole owner of Potters Mercantile, though he had partners in Tabac Trading Co.

Potter says that Potters Mercantile offers non-cigar items such as belt buckles, caps, shirts, knives, cigar cutters and lighters. He intends to offer these items to cigar stores alongside the Tabac Trading Co. portfolio.

“I am thrilled about the acquisition of TABAC TRADING CO. and the opportunity to build upon its legacy,” said Potter in a press release. “We remain committed to delivering exceptional products to our customers and look forward to the exciting future ahead.”
